We're delighted to announce that Cummins Financial Advisers is now a proud sponsor of The Chester Golf Club, strengthening our ties with one of Cheshire's most established sporting institutions.
Members and visitors will spot our branding around the clubhouse, sitting alongside trophy cabinets that quietly tell the story of more than a century of golf in this corner of Chester.

A brief history of the club
The club was founded on 24 May 1901, making it one of the oldest in Cheshire. After early stints on a six-hole course at Upton Hall and the Bache Hall Estate, it found its permanent home in 1910 when Brewers Hall Farm in Curzon Park was purchased from Lord Howe. The name settled as The Chester Golf Club in 1964, and today the 18-hole parkland course sits within a striking loop of the River Dee, one of the most distinctive golfing settings in the North West.
Why the partnership matters
As a Chester financial adviser firm built on trusted, long-term local relationships, supporting the club felt like a natural fit. We've been helping families and business owners across Chester, Wrexham and the wider region with retirement planning, investments, inheritance tax and protection for many years, and the club's membership reflects exactly the kind of community we serve.
Reflecting on the sponsorship, Gerry Cummins, Director and Independent Financial Adviser at Cummins Financial Advisers, said:
"The Chester Golf Club is woven into the fabric of this city, and we're proud to play a small part in supporting it. We hope our involvement is the start of many good conversations, on and off the fairway."
If you'd like to talk through your own retirement, investment or inheritance tax planning, we'd be delighted to hear from you.
