Cummins Financial Advisers were proud to sponsor the latest Freshwalks event held in February 2025.
Freshwalks offer business’ the chance to network with other likeminded organisations in a different and more dynamic way than the traditional face to face ‘over a coffee’ method. You can only imagine what the other benefits that the Freshwalks events offer to business owners and their employees – a fitter, more healthy and fully engaged workforce to name but a few.
This event sponsored by Cummins financial Advisers is part of their vibrant Merseyside business community programme and involved a superb circular Wirral walk that included many interesting perspectives of the western flank of the peninsula. Over 40 of us departed West Kirby via Ashton Park and made our way up through the woodland of Caldy Hill with its fine views across to Hilbre Island. The group then descended through Stapledon Wood and headed across to Royden Country Park for a brief picnic stop. Next up after everyone was fed and watered was the heathland of Thurstaston Common with its red sandstone outcrops - the most prominent being Thor's Stone. Next was the "The Dungeon" at Heswell and then the final loop back to West Kirby via the Wirral Way.
So a fantastic walk in fantastic weather. Cummins Financial Advisers was represented by Mike, Steve and Tilly - Gerry’s very energetic Boxer dog! She seemed to enjoy the walk more than most, enticed by a diet of bacon and sausage, and acted as a fantastic pace maker with the added responsibility of pulling Steve up the steep bits!
